Introduction
Randy Gray, Safety and Health Specialist, President of Grayhawk Safety and Health Consulting Company. I graduated from Murray State University, Occupational Safety & Health with his B.S. in 1983 and completed his M.S. degree in Occupational Safety & Health in 1995.
For more than 25 years, I worked for the State of Kentucky as an OSH Safety & Health Compliance Officer. I conducted numerous compliance audits of workplaces including general scheduled inspections, employee complaints, referrals, follow-up and fatal and non-fatal accidents. I conducted 75 separate fatality investigations during his employment with the division of Kentucky OSH Compliance.
In December of 2008, I retired from state government and began his own consulting firm. Grayhawk Safety & Health Consulting Company works with employers to identify risk and help them with any compliance related issues. I am an EKU/OTI authorized outreach trainer and I conduct classes for EKU / OTI as an adjunct instructor. In addition, I am an adjunct instructor for the Paducah, KY, Western Kentucky Community & Technical College System (KCTCS) teaching safety and health courses for the Chemical Operators and Health Physics programs. I have served as the past President of the Audubon Chapter and Purchase Area Chapter American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE).
